google maps - satelitte edition
ok this is pretty cool.
on biz stones site, i saw a link to the golden gate bridge as seen through google maps. so i went looking for a few other landmarks. first, of course, being my house. problem is, google, in some areas, doesn't have images at really close levels, notably, my house. so i went looking for others. anyone feel free to add to the list.
golden gate bridge (as provided by biz)
cn tower &skydome rogers centre
ambassador bridge
parliament hill, ottawa
the white house
central park
statue of liberty
yankee stadium
and i have never been to new york, but i think that this is where the world trade centers stood. someone please correct me if i am wrong.

monster engine
maybe its because i have small children and i can see the potential in their artwork. i can see what they intended, what things look like through their eyes. and then dave devries takes it to the next level. just amazing art, seen here.
